It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood
It is not even noon yet and already Sophie (Gina's puggle) has been the center of attention. Sophie is a 3 month old puggle who is still getting trained and very high maintenence. Well, Sophie doesn't like to be alone EVER. When she is she can cry her cute little heart out. One of our neighbors doesn't like that too much and called animal control because we must be torturing the poor animal that is in our house. He is certain of it.
Animal control came over. Thankfully she is a really nice lady who has a puggle of her own and understands their nature. She didn't think it was a big deal and was more annoyed with the complaining neighbor than our sweet, innocent, puppy. Since her van was outside and we live in a cul-de-sac the rest of the neighbors, children and all came outside to find out what was going on. By the way at this point i am the only one home and since it is summer and the windows are open i can hear what everyone is saying outside. My mean neighbor (who wears wife beaters all day and constantly looks like he needs to take a shower) was trying to form some anti-dog alliance. At this point i had had it so i grabbed Sofie and took her outside. It was time to introduce her to the neighbors. Of course the second i went out there everyone's facial expressions changed and they told me how cute she was and OF COURSE they all wanted to pet her. Their mood changed and it wasn't a problem anymore. I was told everything was ok and that Sophie is just so adorable.
Nothing like a good looking puppy to bring a neighborhood closer together.

Disclaimer: She only cried 1 night.

SO CUTE. I'm not a big fan of small yippy dogs, but I totally see how he/she could change everyone's mind. :-)
